Days/times you'll most likely be available: High school student schedule, so with during the school year Monday-Friday not until the evenings (if at all, but I usually make some time...) and then all weekends. And then in the summer, all the time!
Character you'd like to play and the series they're from: Kuchiki Rukia from Bleach
Use three words to describe your character's personality: Eccentric, Guarded, Tomboyish
Describe what their special powers/talents are: Sending lost souls to the afterlife they so deserve, defeating Hollows (lost souls who aren't so friendly), drawing terrible pictures
Provide a brief bio of your character's canon history (keep as spoiler-free as possible, please): Rukia initially lived on the streets of the slums, Rukongai (which does not translate to yellow train) with her best friend Abarai Renji and his gang of friends. Much of her toughness and tomboyish attitude comes from this time, as she lived on the streets with a gaggle of boys. Years passed and gradually over time, the throes of the horrible life the group lived more or less killed off everybody in their little group except for the two of them. Deciding that it's only a matter of time before their own survival skills fall short, Renji and Rukia decide to attend school in the rich Seireitei to become shinigami.
While in school to become a shinigami, or a "death god" who helps in the transportation of souls between the human realm and the afterlife, Rukia was adopted into the noble Kuchiki family. Leaving her friend behind, at his own encouragement, into the new family meant that she wouldn't even see her friends at school. The Kuchiki clan wished for her graduation process to be expedited, and so she graduated separately from them all, living with the Kuchiki family as a shinigami.
Her adopted brother may have high ranks in the Gotei 13, the shinigami institution of Soul Society, the afterlife, but Rukia is merely an infantry ranked peon who deals with lower class missions such as patrol duty in the human world. It is on one of these mundane trips while she, in a gigai body that enables her to look to humans as a human and not invisible as a soul, finds herself stepping onto a train (which is NOT yellow?) that may be the catalyst to the rest of her life.
