shocked, ready, sultry
[Oh, fine. It was time to jump on this bandwagon, Rukia supposed, glancing around the lounge before going to the magic mirror. Strange, this thing. She could hardly believe something like this would work!

...Now, who to look at? She didn't honestly care what her brother was doing, but she really needed some kind of input to Soul Society and he was the most well-connected, she supposed. Well...]

Show me Kuchiki Byakuya.

[Soul Society looked like it was a mess, like someone had... broken into it or something. Her brother wasn't at the center of it all but even his surroundings had been touched. The Seireitei had been touched.

What!?

What the hell was going on in Soul Society?!

Hey, hadn't Kuukaku mentioned something?]

[Rukia finishes settling back into her train dorm and flops onto the bed, feeling strangely unsatisfied by this whole turn of events.]

Why don't I feel like I learned anything? Well, at least there's a ways until the next stop.

[Rukia sits back in the commons, wracking her brain for a solution to the whole disappearing teacher thing. She hadn't gone only because she had assumed students were supposed to, you know, remain students or something but that not being the case, she's a little frustrated that she didn't even sign up.]

What would Soul Society do..?

sigh..., retards..., duh...
[Rukia was both curious and vaguely annoyed.

Curious because she had been to school, sure, but that had basically been vocational training for her career as a shinigami. Suddenly, she was going to go to school for... academics.

...Oh, dear.

And she really was quite old, but it helped not that she had the body, quite literally, of a fifteen year old girl. So she was off to school, and a little torn about it, standing in the courtyard.]

[Rukia sat in her room, or rather, layed sprawled across her bed. She hadn't bothered to close the door or anything when she flopped in here, but she felt terrible. Her stomach felt terrible. Must've been something strange in that food-cart; maybe it was human food. In any event, she definitely feels sick and too sick to move from her bed for very far.]

confused, help?, hungry
[Rukia had finally discovered the arcade cart of the train and the DDR machine that came with it. Judging from the obnoxious music spewing from the speakers of the machine, it was supposed to be fun, and she thinks she's seen people try this game before, so she looks around quickly to avoid embarrassing herself before stepping up onto the pad.

If no one interrupted her, this would be a great experience. If they did... they might feel her wrath.]

epiphany, thoughtful, pensive
[Well, now she was on the train that for reasons she's unsure of had seemed like a good idea at the time, and it seems the same dreamlike state has taken her to a room, B2, that appears to be her own.

If she got a room, that meant she was staying for a while, didn't it?

Would Soul Society wonder?

The weird detached feeling allows Rukia not to care and she goes into the room anyways, checking it out, before glancing back out to the hallway.

What did any of this mean?]
